I went for a Barium meal and all the staff were excellent. They were helpful, explained everything that would happen and the radiologist Mrs Rachel Bolton was brilliant and me at ease straight away.

No delays for this appointment, commencing on time for the Barium Swallow scan. Pleasant and informative attending this non-invasive procedure. A drink of something similar to yoghurt is consumed during several scans whilst the body is standing and set at at different angles to the scanner. The whole procedure took place no more than 10 mins. For me, a relatively comfortable experience.
